Role Overview:

The Managing Director will provide leadership and strategic direction for Company’s Global Innovation Center (GIC) in India. This role will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class team that delivers engineering excellence, drives innovation, brings efficiency and speed IT and ERP support, builds financial services, etc. across Company’s businesses and provides high-quality service solutions to internal stakeholders worldwide.

The Managing

Director will partner closely with Corporate leadership and Company’s business leaders to align the center’s capabilities with global business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Growth

- Define and execute a strategic roadmap for the GIC ensuring alignment to Company’s business objectives and growth priorities
- Expand GIC capabilities to drive value creation across all business functions
- Position the GIC as a strategic business partner that drives enterprise value and business outcomes Capability Building & Service Delivery
- Build and scale multi-domain teams and Centers of Excellences (CoEs)
- Establish and manage service solution offerings from the GIC, ensuring reliable and scalable cost-effective support
- Lead and oversee all functions within the GIC ensuring high-quality solutions to support solutions and value creation across all global companies Stakeholder & Business Alignment
- Partner with global business leaders and understand their pain points or challenges and provide solutions through various capabilities from GIC.
- Act as the primary ambassador for the GIC by serving as a liaison between the GIC and global teams to facilitate alignment and knowledge sharing across all businesses.

Candidate Profile Experience:

- 18+ years of experience in GIC/GCC leadership or large-scale global operations
- Proven experience leading and scaling operations in India or other international locations within a global organizational structure
- Experience in working within decentralized or multi-business unit organizations, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors

- Strategic leader with expertise in engineering operations, innovation strategy and service delivery within a global, multi-business environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate corporate objectives into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and retain high performing teams in a competitive talent market. Strong financial management capabilities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ROI-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of Indian laws and regulatory requirements, as well as experience in complying with corporate policies in a multinational corporation structure is added advantage.

- Flexibility and readiness to undertake local or international travel as required.
