As we expand, we are looking for a capable HR Manager to strengthen our people practices and support a high-performance, people-centric culture.
Role Overview The HR Manager will own end-to-end HR Operations and act as a key business partner to store and corporate stakeholders. The role requires strong hands-on experience in retail HR, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and building smooth employee relations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete HR Operations including employee lifecycle (onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave, exit formalities, and full & final settlements).
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations; proactively identify, mediate, and resolve conflicts between employees, teams, and management in a fair and timely manner.
- Drive strong stakeholder engagement with Store Managers, Department Heads, and senior leadership; understand business needs and align HR support accordingly.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, processes, and statutory compliance (labour laws, shops & establishment, POSH, etc.) across all showrooms.
- Handle performance management cycles, probation confirmations, and support managers in goal-setting and feedback conversations.
- Oversee payroll inputs, statutory filings coordination, and maintain accurate employee data & HRIS records.
- Support talent acquisition for retail and support roles in close coordination with the recruitment team / hiring managers.
- Conduct regular store visits / engagement activities to understand ground-level issues and build positive employee relations.
- Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives suitable for a retail environment.
- Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and investigations with sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Prepare and present periodic HR MIS, attrition analysis, and people-related insights to leadership.
- Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency, consistency, and better employee experience.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust hands-on experience in HR Operations and employee relations.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve interpersonal and workplace conflicts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Good understanding of Indian labour laws and retail-specific compliance.
- Strong communication (English + Hindi; Assamese preferred), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple locations, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and people-centric approach.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Post-graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7–10 years of total experience in HR, with significant exposure to HR Operations and employee relations.
- Mandatory prior experience in a retail environment (jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, or multi-store retail preferred).
- Experience handling multi-location retail teams will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
