Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SFCC Automation Architect / Lead to drive quality engineering for Salesforce Commerce Cloud applications. The role requires strong hands-on experience in SFCC testing, automation architecture, eCommerce workflows, API/integration testing, and QA leadership.

The ideal candidate should be able to define the overall test strategy, lead automation initiatives, manage QA teams, and work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable and high-quality releases.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end QA activities for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications.
- Define test strategy, test plans, coverage, execution approach, and release quality criteria.
- Validate critical eCommerce journeys including catalog, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, payments, orders, and order management.
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Drive automation execution and integration of test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, system, and UAT testing.
- Validate integrations between SFCC and OMS, payment gateways, and third-party systems.
- Lead defect triage, root-cause discussions,



risk assessment, and release sign-offs.
- Establish QA metrics and provide quality status and release-readiness reports to stakeholders.
- Mentor QA engineers and provide technical direction on automation and testing practices.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and other QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall quality engineering practices.

Candidate Expectations
- 10+ years of overall experience in software testing / quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications.
- Proven experience leading QA teams or owning QA strategy for large eCommerce applications.
- Strong automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG.
- Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with REST API testing/automation, preferably REST Assured and Postman.
- Good understanding of CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Experience with JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, or equivalent test/defect management tools.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce business flows and integrations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Robust stakeholder communication and team leadership skills.
