Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in MOHANLALGANJ for a Floriculturist – Gerbera & Rose Specialist & a Horticulturist -Bell pepper Specialist. The role involves planning and managing the cultivation of gerbera and rose & Bell paper crops, including bed preparation, planting, pruning, and harvesting.

The specialist monitors plant health, manages irrigation and fertigation schedules, and implements pest and disease control measures. Daily tasks include recording crop performance data, supervising farm workers, and ensuring adherence to quality standards for flowers destined for market. The role also requires coordinating with management on production targets,



implementing best practices in floriculture, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of floriculture & horticulturist practices, specifically in gerbera , rose & Bell pepper cultivation, including propagation, plant nutrition, and crop management.
- Experience with pest and disease identification and control methods, as well as integrated plant protection techniques.
- Ability to plan and manage irrigation, fertigation, greenhouse or polyhouse operations, and environmental controls where applicable.
- Skills in supervising field staff, organizing daily work schedules, and maintaining accurate records of crop activities and yields.
- Understanding of post-harvest handling, grading, and packaging of flowers & vegetable for commercial distribution.
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture, or a related field is preferred; relevant practical experience in flower & vegetable cultivation is highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with farm management and other team members.
