Job Summary
The Business Territory Manager - Biopharma and Pharma, Mumbai is accountable for accelerating strategic growth and expanding market share across Biopharma and pharmaceutical accounts in the region. This role demands a proactive, insight-driven approach to territory development, leveraging deep industry expertise to identify unmet needs, shape demand, and deliver differentiated solutions. The manager will orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, technical specialists, and product specialists’ teams to drive value-based engagements and long-term partnerships. Success in this role hinges on commercial agility, strategic foresight, and a proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments within the life sciences ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Territory Management: Develop and execute a territory growth plan focused on expanding market share across biopharma and pharma segments in South India.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers,



influencers, and stakeholders within target accounts.
Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management: Drive the full sales cycle from chance generation to closure, ensuring consistent pipeline health and accurate forecasting.
Solution Selling: Position and promotion of different solutions aligned with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, application scientists, service teams, and product specialists to deliver integrated customer experiences.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends to inform strategy and identify growth prospects.
