Role Overview

We are looking for a Healthcare AI &

- Agentic Systems Engineer to design and build intelligent AI-agent systems that work across the HiWox healthcare intelligence ecosystem.

The role will focus on building practical AI systems that can understand structured health information, interact with HiWox’s intelligence engine, support healthcare workflows and automate complex multi-step processes while maintaining explainability, safety and human oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Healthcare AI Agent Architecture
- Design task-specific and multi-agent AI systems for HiWox.
- Build agent workflows across healthcare data, wellness assessments, recommendations, consultations and operations.
- Define agent memory, context, tools, permissions and decision workflows.
- Develop scalable architecture for integrating AI into the HiWox platform.
- Health Intelligence Agents
- Build AI agents that work with HiWox’s 9 wellness dimensions.
- Enable agents to interpret structured health, behavioural, lifestyle and wellness data.
- Connect AI systems with HiWox’s deterministic rule-based intelligence engine.
- Support explainable interpretation and personalised recommendations.
- Ensure AI does not override defined healthcare rules, expert frameworks or safety protocols.
- Personalisation &
- Recommendation Agents
- Develop agents that assist in generating personalised wellness recommendations, rituals, programs and follow-ups.
- Combine user profiles, assessments, longitudinal data, device data and expert inputs.
- Build systems that can identify relevant patterns and trigger appropriate actions.
- Create human-escalation mechanisms for cases requiring healthcare professionals or consultants.
- Healthcare Data &
- Knowledge Systems
- Build structured knowledge systems covering healthcare, wellness, assessments, biomarkers, interventions and evidence.
- Develop RAG and knowledge-grounded AI systems where appropriate.
- Work with databases, APIs,



vector databases and structured healthcare datasets.
- Ensure agents retrieve information from approved and traceable sources.
- Healthcare Workflow Agents
- Automate multi-step workflows involving users, consultants, Captains and internal teams.
- Build agents for onboarding, assessment follow-ups, data collection, reminders and progress tracking.
- Support consultant workflows and structured case preparation.
- Enable agents to coordinate authorised actions across HiWox systems.
- Device &
- Health Data Integration
- Develop AI workflows that work with data from smartphones, rings, wearables, sensors, healthcare devices and clinical tests.
- Build systems for interpreting and contextualising multi-source health data.
- Support longitudinal analysis and personalised health intelligence.
- Work with Health Informatics Engineers and Data Scientists on data pipelines and interpretation.
- Healthcare Research Agents
- Build AI agents for healthcare and wellness research.
- Automate literature discovery, evidence extraction, research summarisation and knowledge organisation.
- Support monitoring of new research, clinical guidelines, technologies, biomarkers, devices and digital-health developments.
- Help convert validated research into structured knowledge and decision frameworks.
- AI Integrations &
- Automation
- Integrate AI agents with the HiWox mobile/web platform, databases, APIs and internal tools.
- Work with LLM APIs, automation frameworks, webhooks and external healthcare technologies.
- Enable agents to retrieve information, analyse authorised data and execute defined actions.
- Build reusable AI infrastructure for future HiWox products and services.
- AI Evaluation, Safety &
- Explainability
- Develop evaluation frameworks for accuracy, reliability and consistency.
- Implement hallucination control and knowledge-grounding mechanisms.
- Build human-in-the-loop systems for sensitive healthcare decisions.




- Maintain traceability of AI outputs and the underlying data/rules used.
- Monitor agent performance, failures and safety issues.
- AI R&D; &
- Intellectual Property
- Evaluate emerging agentic AI, healthcare AI and automation technologies.
- Develop proprietary AI architectures, workflows and healthcare intelligence systems.
- Identify opportunities for patents, proprietary algorithms, datasets and technology IP.
- Work with the HiWox R&D; and healthcare science teams on new AI-driven capabilities.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows or autonomous AI systems.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, tool calling, prompt engineering and AI workflow orchestration.
- Robust Python and API development skills.
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, knowledge systems and AI evaluation.
- Understanding of multi-agent systems, memory, tool use and AI observability.
- Experience integrating AI with real-world software products.
- Strong understanding of structured data and databases.
- Healthcare, HealthTech, digital health, biomedical or wellness technology experience is an advantage.
- Ability to take an AI concept from architecture → prototype → working production system.
- Strong interest in building proprietary healthcare AI infrastructure.

Engagement
- Equity-only founding team position
- Approximately 20–25 hours/week
- Remote / hybrid
- No fixed salary at the current stage
- Fixed compensation after funding and revenue stabilisation
- Equity based on contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment
- 5-year vesting structure for core founding team members
