Lead the Finance function of ACSEN Agriscience by ensuring financial discipline, profitability, liquidity, statutory compliance, effective financial controls and timely decision support to the business. The role will partner with the leadership team to translate business plans into financial outcomes, improve working capital and cash generation, strengthen financial reporting and controls, and build scalable finance processes and capabilities as the organisation grows.

- Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Performance & Business Partnering
- Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process in alignment with business strategy and growth plans.
- Track business performance against budgets, identify variances and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Partner with business and functional leaders on profitability, cost structures, pricing, investments and financial decisions.
- Provide financial inputs for strategic and operational decision-making and establish financial KPIs across businesses/functions.
- Support leadership in evaluating business cases, investments and major commercial decisions.

Profitability & Cost Management
- Drive financial discipline towards achievement of organisational profitability targets.
- Analyse revenue, margins, operating costs and business profitability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Strengthen cost management and establish mechanisms for monitoring cost effectiveness.
- Work with business leaders to identify and realise cost optimisation opportunities.
- Ensure Finance insights translate into measurable business actions.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management




- Own working capital management across receivables, inventory and payables.
- Monitor cash conversion and identify opportunities to improve liquidity.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve cash accrual relative to profitability.
- Strengthen receivables management and inventory-related financial controls in partnership with relevant functions.
- Ensure effective cash-flow forecasting and treasury management.

Financial Reporting & Management Information
- Ensure accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting to management.
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews and provide meaningful analysis beyond financial reporting.
- Strengthen MIS and dashboards for business, sales, inventory, cost and profitability metrics.
- Drive automation and standardisation of finance reports and management information.
- Improve accessibility and reliability of financial data for decision-making.

Statutory Compliance, Audit & Financial Governance
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory, regulatory and tax compliance.
- Lead statutory, internal and other financial audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain robust internal financial controls and governance mechanisms.
- Ensure appropriate accounting policies, processes and controls are established and followed.
- Identify financial and compliance risks and establish appropriate mitigation mechanisms.

Finance Systems & Process Transformation




- Drive continuous improvement and digitisation of finance processes.
- Leverage SAP/ERP and other systems to improve reporting, controls, automation and decision support.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve process efficiency.
- Develop automated reporting for financial, inventory, sales, cost and other business metrics.
- Ensure finance systems and processes remain scalable as the organisation grows.

Organisation Capability & Team Development Lead and develop a high-performing Finance team with explicit roles, accountability, cross-functional financial discipline, and a culture of ownership, responsiveness, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Build organisational resilience through effective cross-training, backups and succession planning for critical Finance roles.

Leadership & Management Support

¢ Act as a trusted financial advisor to the senior leadership team, providing timely financial perspectives and translating organisational priorities into measurable financial outcomes.

¢ Position Finance as a business-enabling partner by supporting key business decisions and ensuring timely execution of actions arising from management reviews and leadership directions.

- Qualifications & Experience

- Cost Accountant/Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 20+ years of relevant experience in Finance, preferably with 5+ years experience leading a Finance function.
- Experience in an agribusiness, seeds, FMCG, F&B;, manufacturing sectors
- Experience working directly with CXO/business leadership.
