Key Job Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance for the client.
- Review and ensure timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C and other applicable GST returns.
- Perform GST reconciliation between books, GST returns, GSTR-2B and vendor data.
- Review Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, reversals and mismatches.
- Analyze GST treatment of various banking/payment-related transactions and services.
- Review outward supplies, expenses, vendor invoices and tax classifications from a GST perspective.
- Assist in determining the appropriate GST rate, HSN/SAC and place-of-supply treatment.
- Handle GST notices, departmental queries, assessments and audits.
- Prepare replies, reconciliations and supporting documentation for GST authorities.
- Coordinate with the client's Finance/Tax/Accounts teams and the CA firm's internal team.




- Review GST workings prepared by team members and ensure accuracy before submission.
- Monitor GST notifications, circulars, amendments and case-law developments and communicate relevant changes to the client.
- Support GST audits and internal tax reviews.
- Identify GST compliance risks and suggest corrective actions.
- Prepare MIS/management reports relating to GST liabilities, ITC, reconciliations and outstanding matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for GST compliance

Qualification: Chartered Accountant Experience: Around 5 years post-qualification
