CREX is looking for an Ad Sales Manager to drive advertising revenue by building relationships with brands, media agencies, and advertising partners.
The role will focus on taking CREX’s cricket-led digital advertising proposition to the market, identifying new business opportunities, pitching brands and agencies, and converting these opportunities into revenue.
The ideal candidate is someone with 2–5 years of experience in digital media, advertising, media sales, or brand partnerships, who is passionate about cricket, understands the digital advertising ecosystem, and enjoys working in a target-driven environment. This is an prospect to work closely with brands and agencies and build cutting-edge advertising solutions around one of India’s most engaged sports audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Ad Sales & Revenue Generation
• Drive advertising sales for CREX across brands, agencies, and advertising partners.
• Identify and prospect new brands across categories such as FMCG, BFSI, Auto, Telecom, E-commerce, Gaming, Consumer Tech, Lifestyle, and others.
• Generate leads,
conduct client meetings, deliver pitches, negotiate commercials, and close advertising deals.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with regular updates on opportunities and closures.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and increase spends from existing clients.
Brand & Agency Relationships
• Build robust working relationships with media agencies, planners, buyers, and brand marketing teams.
• Develop relationships with agencies such as GroupM, Publicis, Dentsu, Omnicom, and other independent agencies.
• Understand upcoming campaigns, briefs, budgets, and category requirements to identify prospects for CREX.
• Regularly meet agencies and brands to present CREX's audience, content, and advertising proposition.
• Maintain robust relationships with clients throughout the campaign lifecycle.
