Are you a psychology graduate who enjoys understanding people, working with teenagers and helping them turn aspirations into practical plans?

CollegePass is hiring psychology graduates to train as student-advising professionals supporting students applying to Ivy League and other leading US universities.

We provide comprehensive training in US college admissions, our advising methodology and the CollegePass platform. You bring strong communication, sound judgement, curiosity and the discipline to follow through.

This is not a sales, enrolment-conversion, clinical psychology or therapy role. It is a full-time position—not an internship.

About CollegePass

CollegePass works one-to-one with students on academic and extracurricular development, university selection, application strategy and essays. Our platform supports advisors with structured research, planning and student-progress workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Following training, and initially under supervision, you will:

- Conduct structured conversations to understand students’ interests, strengths, aspirations and concerns.
- Help students convert their goals into practical academic and extracurricular action plans.
- Run regular check-ins, track progress and follow up on agreed tasks.
- Research universities, courses and opportunities using reliable sources.
- Support student-profile reviews and university-shortlisting work.
- Help students reflect on their experiences and organise application information.
- Support essay brainstorming and feedback while preserving the student’s own voice.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents.
- Maintain accurate meeting notes, task trackers and deadlines.




- Use the CollegePass platform consistently and seek senior guidance when needed.

You will be expected to take ownership of work, not merely observe meetings or coordinate appointments.

Training and Development

Training will cover

- US undergraduate admissions and application processes.
- School curricula and academic requirements.
- Student profile development and university research.
- Application planning and essay-feedback principles.
- Student motivation, accountability and parent communication.
- Professional boundaries, confidentiality and ethical advising.
- CollegePass systems and documentation standards.

Training includes case exercises, shadowing, feedback and supervised student work. Independent responsibility will follow demonstrated readiness.

Who Should Apply

We welcome recent BA, BSc, MA and MSc Psychology graduates. Candidates completing their degree may apply if they can join full time by the agreed start date.

Academic projects, internships, volunteering, peer mentoring and student leadership are valid evidence of these abilities. Previous US admissions experience is not necessary.

Work Schedule

- Tuesday–Friday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM IST — Work from home
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM IST — Bengaluru office
- Weekly off: Sunday and Monday

Applicants must be based in Bengaluru by their joining date and able to attend the office every Saturday.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants will complete practical exercises assessing writing, research, judgement and student communication. We assess learning potential—not memorised admissions knowledge.
