Hiring: Global Business Unit Head - Media & Technology

Location: Bengaluru (5 Days Work from Office)

Reporting To: Chief Business Officer (CBO) Level C-2

About the Role: Our client is a global leader in Engineering, Digital, and ER&D; services, serving 400 clients worldwide. Our client is looking for an experienced business leader to head the Media & Technology Business Unit. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, profitability, customer success, delivery excellence, and team leadership across global markets. The successful candidate will own the complete P&L; and lead expansion across industries such as:

- High-Tech
- Telecom & Communications
- Media & Entertainment
- Digital Platforms
- Software Products
- Cloud & AI
- Data & Cybersecurity
- Semiconductor Engineering
- Network Solutions

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & P&L; Management

- Own the complete P&L; of the Media & Technology business.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance.
- Define and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify new growth opportunities and strengthen market presence globally.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

- Grow existing customer relationships and acquire new strategic accounts.
- Develop go-to-market plans across Technology, Telecom, AI, Cloud, Semiconductor, and Digital Engineering sectors.
- Lead large transformation and strategic deals in collaboration with sales and delivery teams.

Customer Relationship Management

- Build strong relationships with CXOs and senior customer stakeholders.
- Act as executive sponsor for key strategic accounts.
- Drive customer satisfaction, business expansion, and long-term partnerships.

Delivery & Operational Excellence





- Ensure high-quality delivery across all customer engagements.
- Improve governance, productivity, and execution standards.
- Drive operational efficiency, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Technology & Innovation Leadership

- Promote innovation-led growth across AI, Cloud, Digital Engineering, Cybersecurity, Telecom, and Semiconductor domains.
- Work with practice leaders to build future-ready capabilities.
- Encourage adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Strategic Partnerships

- Build relationships with hyperscalers, technology providers, telecom operators, and semiconductor organizations.
- Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and business collaborations.
- Leverage partnerships to create recent revenue opportunities and strengthen market positioning.

Talent & Leadership Development

- Lead global teams across Sales, Delivery, Practice, and Operations.
- Develop future leaders through mentoring and succession planning.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

Desired Profile – Education & Experience

- B.E. / B.Tech with 20 years of leadership experience in:
- Technology & Engineering Services
- Semiconductor Industry
- Telecom
- Media Technology
- High-Tech

Key Requirements

- Experience leading a large global business unit with revenues of USD 150M - 500M .
- Strong P&L; ownership and business scaling experience.
- Proven success managing large global customer portfolios.
- Experience leading teams across North America, Europe, APAC, and India.
- Strong track record of driving transformation, growth, and customer success.
