About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, energetic General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at the sports facility.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of sports, hospitality, community, and business operations . The GM will be responsible for ensuring a premium player experience while managing venue operations, teams, vendors, events, community engagement, and the pro-shop.

What You'll Do

Venue Operations

- Oversee daily evening operations and ensure the facility, courts, lighting, safety, and staff meet premium standards.
- Ensure a seamless experience for players and guests.
- Resolve operational and customer issues quickly and effectively.

Team & Vendor Management

- Manage and coordinate housekeeping, security, valet, and other third-party teams.
- Coordinate operational requirements with the on-site F&B; partner.
- Maintain high standards of service and venue presentation.

Pro-Shop & Retail

- Manage the presentation and day-to-day operations of the pro-shop.
- Oversee the demo racket rental program and retail inventory.
- Train front-desk staff to provide basic racket recommendations to customers.
- Track racket sales and ensure accurate commission reconciliation.

Community & Growth

- Build and manage The Hanger's player community and WhatsApp groups.
- Develop relationships with regular players and corporate clients.
- Drive corporate bookings,



events, tournaments, and community activities.
- Collaborate on social media content including Reels, tournament content, and venue activations.

Business & Reporting

- Monitor daily POS billing and court occupancy.
- Track venue performance and key operational metrics.
- Manage tournament P&L; and event operations.
- Prepare weekly operational reports for the Founders / Partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, efficiency, and customer experience.

What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in sports facility management, premium fitness, hospitality, or a similar operational role.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Experience with booking platforms such as Playtomic , POS systems, and social media tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Passion for sports and familiarity with racquet sports is a plus.
