Role Description The Fulltime Faculty role at Caretino is an in office position based in Surat, focused on delivering high-quality instruction and mentorship in areas related to jewelry design, craftsmanship, and industry practices. The faculty member will plan and teach courses, develop lesson plans, lead classroom sessions, and provide practical demonstrations that align with Caretino’s design philosophy and standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding learners through projects, reviewing and assessing their work, offering constructive feedback, and maintaining an engaging learning environment. The role also involves collaborating with other faculty and internal teams to update curricula,



integrate emerging trends and technologies, and support academic events, workshops, and portfolio development. As a full-time faculty member, the individual will contribute to both academic excellence and the professional growth of learners preparing for careers in the jewelry and design sector.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in jewelry design, fashion design, or visual arts, with the ability to teach core principles and practical techniques.
- Experience in classroom instruction, training, or mentorship, including lesson planning, learner assessment, and constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of contemporary jewelry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes, especially in gold, diamond, and platinum segments.
- Ability to integrate technology and digital tools into teaching, such as design software, presentation tools, and online learning resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and a learner-centered approach.
- Formal education in a relevant field (e.g., jewelry design, fine arts, design, or related discipline); teaching or industry certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in the jewelry or luxury goods industry, particularly in design studios, workshops, or educational institutions, is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment and supporting diverse learners in building creative and professional skills.
