Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Safety Head to lead fire prevention, industrial safety, emergency preparedness, and statutory compliance at our mattress and foam manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall Fire & Safety and EHS activities across the plant.
- Identify and control fire hazards related to foam, chemicals, adhesives, packaging and electrical systems.
- Ensure proper functioning and periodic inspection of fire hydrants, extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers and fire pumps.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, fire drills and emergency mock drills.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Factories Act, Fire Safety and EHS regulations.
- Manage PPE, Permit-to-Work, JSA/JHA and SOP implementation.
- Investigate accidents, near misses and fire incidents and ensure corrective actions.




- Conduct safety training for employees, contractors and emergency response teams.
- Coordinate with Fire Department, statutory authorities and external auditors.
- Prepare safety reports, maintain records and drive continuous improvement in plant safety.

Qualification & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety / EHS or equivalent.
- 3–8 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing safety.
- Experience in foam, mattress, chemical, furniture, textile or similar manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, risk assessment, emergency management and statutory compliance.
- Valuable leadership, communication and team-management skills.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per hour
