ARIBO is looking for an experienced Fashion Designer with solid production management skills. This role places significant emphasis on planning production, working collaboratively with teams, maintaining quality and ensuring timely delivery, alongside design development.

We need someone who takes responsibility for their work, communicates clearly and follows every assigned order through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Management

- Oversee production from sampling and cutting to stitching, embroidery, finishing and final delivery.
- Prepare daily and weekly production schedules, allocate tasks and track progress.
- Coordinate with master cutters, tailors, embroidery teams and external vendors.
- Manage customer orders and collection production, prioritising work according to deadlines.
- Identify delays early, resolve issues and take responsibility for keeping production on schedule.
- Plan fabric, lining, trims and embroidery material requirements.
- Maintain production records and provide daily updates on completed work, pending tasks and delivery timelines.

Design & Product Development

- Develop designs aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and customer requirements.
- Prepare sketches, measurement sheets and clear construction and embroidery instructions.
- Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims and embellishments.
- Collaborate with the master cutter and artisans to translate designs into finished garments.
- Oversee sampling, fittings and corrections before production.





Team Collaboration & Ownership

- Work closely with design, production and store teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Give clear instructions, listen to feedback and resolve challenges constructively.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure smooth handovers between production stages.
- Take ownership of quality, deadlines and the completion of each assigned order.
- Flag concerns promptly and propose practical solutions.

Quality Control

- Check garment measurements, fit, construction, embroidery placement and finishing throughout production.
- Ensure finished pieces match approved designs and customer specifications.
- Address defects promptly and minimise rework and material wastage.
- Conduct final quality checks before dispatch or store delivery.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in fashion design, with substantial involvement in production management.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fabrics, embroidery and finishing.
- Experience coordinating tailoring teams, artisans and vendors.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and take responsibility for results.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Experience in Indian wear, designer womenswear or occasion wear preferred.
- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design is preferred.
