Role Overview:

This is a unique internship opportunity that bridges physical garment manufacturing with digital fashion publishing. A boutique B2B & B2C apparel manufacturing company specializing in premium, batch production—and L'utopia Magazine—a globally engaged digital fashion and lifestyle publication. This role offers hands-on experience end-to-end garment construction to fashion media operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Editorial Styling & Coordination: Assist the styling team in curating mood boards and organizing specific outfits to be shipped to celebrities and artists for exclusive co-authored Instagram Reels and digital features.
- PR & Communications: Help manage incoming press releases, draft standard confirmation letters and invoices for brand partnerships, and maintain a tracker of active affiliate links and hybrid barter deals.
- Content Assistance: Support the editorial team by proofreading interview transcripts, drafting short-form fashion or lifestyle copy for website articles, and organizing high-resolution press assets.
- Social Media Support: Assist in formatting VIP newsletters and coordinating visual assets for Instagram grid posts and stories.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Conduct local market research and source specific fabrics, trims, buttons, threads, and custom accessories required.
- Production Coordination: Act as a liaison between the workshop floor and the management team.



Track the daily progress of sample development and bulk manufacturing to ensure strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Technical Merchandising: Assist in deciphering Tech Packs and Spec/POM (Points of Measure) sheets. Calculate and track fabric consumption, wastage, and inventory levels for ongoing projects.
- Draping & Sampling Assistance: Work alongside master pattern makers and tailors during the sampling phase. Assist with basic draping, pattern-cutting coordination, and documentation of fit-testing sessions or measurement corrections.
- Quality Control (QC): Conduct preliminary quality checks on finished samples and bulk pieces before final packing and dispatch, ensuring all client specifications (lining, embroidery, stitching quality) are met.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing, Fashion Merchandising, or Fashion Communication.
- Solid fundamental knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making basics, and technical fashion terminology (e.g., Tech Packs, POM, GSM).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, necessary for both vendor negotiation on the workshop floor and professional PR correspondence for the magazine.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple manufacturing projects alongside fast-paced editorial deadlines.
- Proactive, highly detail-oriented, and capable of seamlessly switching between physical workshop problem-solving and digital media tasks.
