Key Responsibilities1. Embedded System Testing
- Develop and execute manual test cases for embedded firmware and control software.
- Perform black-box and gray-box testing for motor control applications.
- Validate firmware on embedded targets (MCU/DSP-based systems).
- Analyze requirements and define
- Test strategy
- Test scenarios
- Coverage metrics
1. Motor Control Validation
- Test control algorithms for:
- BLDC motors
- PMSM motors
- Induction motors
- Validate Field-Oriented Control (FOC), including:
- Speed control loops
- Torque control loops
- Position control loops
- Validate system performance under:
- Different loads and operating conditions
- Voltage variations
- Temperature variations
- Environmental variations
- Verify:
- Motor start-up
- Motor shutdown
- Fault handling
- Safety features
1. Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) & Bench Testing
- Conduct testing using:
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Power analyzers
- Motor dyno setups
- Test benches
- Perform hardware-software integration testing.
- Support HIL/MIL/SIL validation setups, if applicable.
1. Defect Management & Debugging
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA/ALM.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with development teams.
- Analyze

- Debug and investigate issues in collaboration with development teams.
1. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with standards such as:
- IEC
- ISO
- Automotive SPICE, if applicable

- Support audits and customer quality reviews.

Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers, including:
- ARM
- TI C2000
- etc.
- Experience in manual testing of embedded firmware.

- Hands-on experience with:
