Position: Electrical Design Engineer – LV Panel Design (AutoCAD)

Location: Oragadam, Chennai

Experience: 3–4 Years

Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Low Voltage (LV) electrical control and power distribution panels as per customer specifications.
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement), SLD (Single Line Diagram), schematic, wiring, and termination drawings using AutoCAD.
- Design electrical panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, and Control Panels.
- Select electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, busbars, meters, and protection devices.
- Coordinate with production, project, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and support procurement with technical clarifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant IEC/IS standards and company quality requirements.
- Provide technical support during panel assembly,



testing, and commissioning whenever required.
- Revise drawings based on customer comments and site requirements.

Qualifications:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical Engineering.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
- Hands-on experience in LV Panel Design.
- Good understanding of electrical schematic drawings, power distribution, and control circuits.
- Knowledge of PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, and Control Panels.
- Familiarity with electrical standards such as IEC/IS.
- Ability to prepare BOQs/BOMs and technical documentation.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
