Position: DTP Operator

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a DTP Operator to handle the formatting, designing, editing, and preparation of educational and office materials such as books, notes, question papers, worksheets, brochures, certificates, and other printed/digital content. DTP work commonly involves page layout, typography, image editing, proofreading, and preparing print-ready files. Directorate General of Training

Key Responsibilities

- Design and format books, notes, question papers, worksheets, brochures, certificates, and other materials.
- Perform accurate typing, formatting, page layout, alignment, and typesetting.
- Work with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, PageMaker or similar DTP software.
- Edit, resize, crop, and adjust images as required.
- Check fonts, spacing, margins, page numbers, alignment, and formatting.
- Proofread documents and correct typing or layout errors before finalization.
- Prepare print-ready PDF files and coordinate with printing teams.
- Make corrections and updates based on feedback from academic/editorial teams.
- Maintain proper organization and backup of completed files.
- Complete assigned work within deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Required Skills




- Good knowledge of DTP and page-layout software.
- Good typing and computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PDF editing.
- Knowledge of English typing; Telugu/Hindi typing is an added advantage.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of printing and page setup.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: 10th / 12th / Diploma / Graduate.
- Experience: 0–2 years; freshers with relevant DTP skills can also apply.
- Candidates with experience in educational publishing, printing, or academic content formatting will be preferred.

Salary & Advantages ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
