About the Role

We are looking for a Privacy Consultant with strong hands-on experience in DPDP, GDPR and CCPA/CPRA privacy compliance. The candidate will work with clients/business teams to assess privacy risks, implement privacy programs, and translate regulatory requirements into practical compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA/DPIA) and privacy gap assessments.
- Perform Data Mapping, Data Flow Mapping and RoPA (Records of Processing Activities).
- Advise on DPDP Act, GDPR and CCPA/CPRA requirements.
- Develop and implement Privacy Governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Conduct Vendor Privacy / Third-Party Risk Assessments.
- Support Data Subject Rights (DSR/DSAR) processes.
- Review Data Processing Agreements (DPA), privacy clauses and consent requirements.
- Support Privacy by Design across business processes and products.
- Identify privacy risks and prepare remediation/action plans.
- Work with Legal, IT, Security, Product, Engineering, HR and Business teams.




- Conduct stakeholder discussions/workshops and present privacy findings and recommendations.
- Support privacy compliance documentation, audits and regulatory readiness.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience in DPDP/DPDPA, GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
- Strong experience in DPIA/PIA, RoPA and Data Flow Mapping.
- Experience with Privacy Gap Assessments and Privacy Risk Assessments.
- Knowledge of Privacy Governance and Data Protection principles.
- Experience with Vendor Privacy Risk / TPRM.
- Valuable understanding of DSR/DSAR, DPA and Privacy Notices.
- Strong client/stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of ISO 27701 / ISO 27001.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, DCPP.
- Experience with Privacy by Design, Consent Management and Cookie Compliance.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has actually executed privacy assessments and compliance programs, rather than someone with only theoretical knowledge of GDPR/DPDP or a purely legal/contracts background.
