Why This Role Matters

This role exists to modernize our existing AWS workplace by implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, designing and owning the CI/CD pipeline from commit to production, and ensuring platform reliability through observability and SLOs.

What You'll Do

- Architect and operate IaC-managed infrastructure enabling business capabilities at scale.
- Build and optimize stateful systems supporting real-time and batch analytics across petabyte-scale data sources.




- Partner cross-functionally to translate analytics and operational needs into production-grade data infrastructure.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing cloud-native processing workflows, reducing the on-call rotation, and implementing automated rollback tied to SLO breach.

Core Technical Requirements

- 7+ years in platform engineering, DevOps
- Deep AWS knowledge: EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, VPC, networking, cost tooling
- Terraform as a first-class skill: IaC design, state management, module architecture, brownfield import
- Production CI/CD ownership: GitHub Actions or equivalent, progressive delivery, automated rollback
