Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Python, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production support. The role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure deployments, environment administration, and production operations to ensure platform stability and reliable releases. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage complex DevOps operations, automate deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and improve operational efficiency and reliability while supporting development and application teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of CI/CD pipeline management, automation, deployment, and release management activities.

- Design, build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

- Manage and administer AWS cloud environments, infrastructure, and deployment processes.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational activities.

- Develop and maintain Python scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.

- Manage application and infrastructure deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

- Perform environment administration and ensure platform stability, availability, and reliability.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective solutions.

- Independently manage complex DevOps operations and resolve deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.

- Automate build, deployment, configuration, release, and rollback processes.

- Work closely with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Monitor infrastructure, applications, CI/CD pipelines, logs, and system metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.

- Implement DevOps best practices for automation, scalability, reliability, security, and continuous delivery.

- Collaborate with development, QA, security, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve technical and deployment issues.





- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

- Support incident, problem, and change management activities for production environments.

- Ensure appropriate security, access control, configuration, and compliance practices are followed across AWS environments.

- Maintain technical documentation related to infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

- Identify opportunities to improve automation, system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

- Support release planning, production deployments, post-deployment validation, and rollback activities when required.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of overall experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and infrastructure.

- Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting and automation.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, ECS/EKS, and Load Balancers.

- Strong experience in infrastructure deployment, environment administration, and production support.

- Hands-on experience with Git and source-code management tools.

- Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.

- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and command-line tools.

- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management,



and production troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM, authentication, and access management.

- Experience with automated deployment, release, and rollback strategies.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to independently manage complex DevOps operations and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, particularly AWS EKS/ECS.

- Experience with Terraform and reusable Infrastructure as Code modules.

- Experience with AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.

- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, Trivy, or similar security/code-quality tools.

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.

- Experience implementing blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.

- Exposure to AWS serverless and event-driven technologies.

- Experience developing Python-based DevOps automation frameworks and operational tools.

- Knowledge of container orchestration and deployment tools such as Helm.

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Relevant AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications are an added advantage.

- Experience supporting high-availability and enterprise-scale production environments.

- Prior experience coordinating with distributed onsite and offshore teams.
