Role Description The Design Verification Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for ensuring that complex hardware and software designs meet functional and performance specifications. Day-to-day tasks include developing verification plans, creating testbenches and test cases, running simulations, analyzing results, and documenting findings.

The engineer collaborates closely with design, architecture, and software teams to clarify requirements, identify defects early, and drive resolution of issues. The role also involves maintaining verification environments, improving automation and coverage metrics,



and contributing to best practices and process improvements across projects.

Qualifications

- Experience with design verification methodologies, including creating verification plans, testbenches, and coverage-driven test cases.
- Proficiency with hardware description and verification languages (such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of digital design concepts, computer architecture, and interfaces (for example, buses, memory systems, or protocols).
- Background in automation and scripting using languages such as Python, Shell, or similar tools to streamline verification workflows.
- Ability to analyze simulation results, debug complex issues, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment with strong time management and self-directed work habits.
- Experience with version control systems, issue tracking tools, and collaborative development practices; exposure to ASIC or FPGA flows is a plus.
