Role Description The Design Manager role at KPN Fresh is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Design

Manager will lead and oversee brand and visual design across in-store experiences, packaging, marketing materials, and digital touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity. This role involves managing a design team, allocating projects, reviewing deliverables, and maintaining design standards aligned with business and customer experience goals.

Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and store development teams to create effective store signage, layouts, visual merchandising assets,



and campaign creatives. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing and executing design projects, developing design guidelines, coordinating with external vendors or agencies, and monitoring timelines to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative work.

Qualifications

- Brand and visual design skills, including experience in retail or FMCG environments.
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) and digital asset creation.
- Experience in packaging design, in-store signage, and visual merchandising concepts.
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities to oversee multiple concurrent design initiatives.
- Collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and store management.
- Ability to translate customer insights and business objectives into clear, effective design solutions.
- Attention to detail, strong aesthetic judgment, and commitment to brand consistency.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Prior experience in a design management or senior design role, preferably in retail, supermarkets, or consumer brands.
- Comfort working on-site in Chennai and engaging directly with store environments and stakeholders.
