Job Title: Design Engineer – Automotive Trims / Plastic

We are looking for a Design Engineer with 3–7 years of relevant experience in automotive plastic component design, specifically in Interior or Exterior Trims. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 and a good understanding of Master Sections.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and development of automotive plastic components using CATIA V5.
- Work on Interior and/or Exterior Trim components.
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings.
- Develop and interpret Master Sections for trim and plastic component design.
- Perform packaging, clearance, interface, gap and flush checks.
- Ensure appropriate wall thickness, draft angle, ribs, bosses, clips, snaps and mounting features.
- Coordinate with tooling, manufacturing, quality and other engineering teams.




- Support design modifications, engineering changes and issue resolution.
- Ensure designs meet DFM/DFA, GD&T; and automotive design requirements.

Mandatory Requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant automotive design experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
- Experience in automotive plastic components is mandatory.
- Experience in Interior Trims and/or Exterior Trims.
- Master Section experience is mandatory.
- Valuable knowledge of plastic component design and injection moulding.
- Candidates should have worked on plastic parts, not primarily sheet-metal design.
- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
