About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Design Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and a strong command of SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design Jigs, Fixtures, Machine Components, and Mechanical Assemblies.
- Prepare accurate drawings with GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances, and BOMs.
- Understand manufacturing processes and design components suitable for machining and fabrication.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on customer or production requirements.
- Review designs for functionality, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.




- Valuable understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and tolerancing.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Experience 36 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in:
- Jigs & Fixtures

- Automation
- Tool & Die

- Machine Design

- Precision Engineering

- Manufacturing

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
