ASSISTANT DERMATOLOGIST – SKIN WORLD

ROLE SUMMARY

Skin World is looking for a dynamic, responsible and growth-oriented Assistant Dermatologist who can deliver excellent clinical and aesthetic care while contributing actively to the growth and reputation of the clinic.

The ideal candidate should be clinically competent, patient-centric, confident with aesthetic procedures, comfortable on social media and commercially aware, while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and patient safety.

The role requires someone who wants to grow with the clinic and eventually take increasing responsibility for patients, procedures and team performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Clinical Dermatology

- Conduct dermatology consultations and assess common skin, hair and scalp concerns.
- Take appropriate medical history, clinical photographs and maintain accurate EMR records.
- Explain diagnosis, treatment options, expected outcomes and timelines clearly to patients.
- Identify cases requiring senior consultation and escalate appropriately.
- Ensure proper follow-up and treatment adherence.

2. Aesthetic Dermatology Perform aesthetic procedures for which the doctor has been adequately trained and authorised, including appropriate:

- Medical facials and peels
- Microneedling and mesotherapy
- PRP/hair treatments
- Laser and energy-based procedures
- Skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing treatments
- Other clinic-approved aesthetic procedures

Strict adherence to clinical protocols, consent, infection control,



treatment parameters and post-procedure care is mandatory. 3. Patient Experience

Every patient should feel heard, understood, educated and cared for.

The doctor is expected to:

- Understand patient concerns and expectations.
- Communicate with empathy and professionalism.
- Set realistic expectations without overpromising.
- Provide clear pre- and post-treatment instructions.
- Handle patient concerns promptly.
- Build long-term patient relationships and encourage appropriate follow-ups.

4. Clinic Growth & Ethical Sales The doctor will actively contribute to increasing:

- New patient consultations
- Follow-up visits
- Appropriate treatment conversions
- Repeat patients
- Patient referrals
- Aesthetic procedure utilisation

The doctor should confidently educate patients about suitable treatment options and packages. Revenue generation must always be ethical and clinically appropriate. Unnecessary procedures, pressure selling or unrealistic promises are unacceptable.

5. Social Media & Brand Building

Actively contribute to Skin World’s social-media presence through:

- Educational reels
- Patient FAQs
- Treatment explanations
- Myth-busting content
- Before/after content with appropriate consent
- Clinic stories and awareness campaigns





The doctor should be comfortable communicating on camera and generating relevant content ideas. 6. Teamwork & Skilled Behaviour The doctor is expected to:

- Work collaboratively with doctors, therapists, counsellors, reception and management.
- Maintain a positive and motivational attitude.
- Help colleagues and junior staff when required.
- Communicate problems constructively.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline and professional appearance.
- Take ownership rather than passing responsibility to others.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- MBBS with relevant dermatology/aesthetic training; MD/DNB/Diploma Dermatology preferred.
- Experience in aesthetic dermatology is an advantage.
- Good communication and counselling skills.
- Confident, positive and presentable personality.
- Willingness to learn and undergo further training.
- Comfortable with social media and camera-based content.
- Commercially aware but strongly ethical.
- Demonstrates initiative, ownership and commitment to the growth of Skin World.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
