Role Description The Deputy Purchase Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Surat. The role involves managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery to support production requirements.

The Deputy Purchase

Manager will monitor inventory levels, process purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement records, and coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality, and finance.

Responsibilities also include analyzing market trends, supporting vendor development, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to cost optimization and process improvement initiatives. The role requires active participation in planning meetings and assisting senior management with procurement reports and decision-making.

Roles: Purchasing (Domestic and Overseas):

- Research and onboard new suppliers and vendors.




- Source materials, goods, products, and services, negotiating the best contracts and cost-effective deals.
- Review inventory inspections with Store and ensure minimum stock and reorder timely.
- Coordinate with supplier for quality regarding issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
- Coordinate with the PPC teams and follow up on delayed or rescheduled orders.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Develop and implement logistic strategies to optimize the supply chain and meet company objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities using appropriate software.
- Responsible for cost reducing driven across all Non Bom, BOM Etc..
- Responsible for cost reducing driven across all department for parches requirements.

Roles: Team Management:

- Provide guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Verify and check all reports related Purchase order & document.
- Prepare monthly purchase report for department review for management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Proficient in inventory management software and logistics tools.
- Knowledge of domestic and international transportation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
