SBI Foundation is the CSR arm of State Bank of India, established in 2015 to implement the CSR initiatives of the Bank and its subsidiaries. The Foundation works towards inclusive and sustainable development through strategic interventions focused on vulnerable and marginalized communities across India.

Position: Deputy Manager – Women Empowerment

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Employment Type: On Roll, subject to successful completion of probation period.

Deadline for Applications: 10.10.2026

Salary: Fixed CTC between Rs. 7.5 to 10.5 LPA + up to 15% performance variable component linked to annual performance. The CTC offered will depend on interview performance, relevant experience, and skill set.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Master of Social Work (MSW) or Master’s degree in Women Studies or child development
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the domain of women empowerment or child development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The person in this position will be responsible for the following:

- Women Empowerment Program Design: Assist the Team Head in conceptualizing, designing, and launching strategic CSR programs focused specifically on women empowerment and gender equality.
- Budgeting & Proposal Processing: Review and process program proposals from partner agencies while managing allocated budgets to meet annual targets.
- NGO Partner Management: ork closely with implementation partners and NGOs to ensure women-centric interventions are executed effectively, on time, and within compliance guidelines.
- Monitoring & On-Site Evaluation: Conduct field site visits to track program implementation, evaluate ground-level data, and verify beneficiary impact across target communities.
- Impact Assessment:



Design and conduct internal impact assessments or coordinate with external agencies to measure the long-term effectiveness of women empowerment initiatives.
- Executive Presentations & Reporting: Prepare high-level PowerPoint presentations, background notes, and comprehensive reports for Board meetings, CSR committee reviews, and funders.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Events: Build relationships with diverse stakeholders and organize national roundtables, workshops, and seminars on women’s sustainable development issues.
- Communication & Advocacy: Collaborate with the communications team to produce case stories, photos, and media updates showcasing the success of women beneficiaries.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to identify operational bottlenecks, manage risks, and implement prompt corrective actions for assigned projects.
- Team Support & Operations: Supervise project staff, handle resource management, coordinate onsite/offsite activities, and fulfill operational duties directed by the Program Head.

The incumbent will also be involved in planning, budgeting, writing research papers on varied subjects, review of schedule timelines, on-boarding, resource management for the programs, SPOC for issue management,



onsite-offsite coordination and communicating innovative ideas/changes for program management/development activities.

Essential Skills and Qualities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with robust report-writing capability.Quantitative analytical aptitude for project tracking, risk assessment, and quantitative evaluation.

Proactive problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mindset in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in standard computer software applications.
