We are looking for an experienced DataBricks Architect with strong expertise in AWS Databricks and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable Databricks solutions, with strong knowledge of pipelines, notebooks, Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB), CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), and AWS services including S3 .
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable AWS Databricks data solutions.
- Develop and manage Databricks pipelines, workflows, and notebooks .
- Work extensively with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB / Declarative Automation Bundles) for deployment and automation.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Databricks workloads.
- Manage source code and deployment processes using Git and Azure DevOps (ADO) .
- Integrate Databricks solutions with AWS services , particularly Amazon S3 .
- Establish best practices for data engineering, deployment, version control, and environment management.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects,
and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable data platforms.
- Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, and Databricks-related issues and provide technical solutions.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience .
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Databricks .
- Strong experience with Databricks Pipelines .
- Strong knowledge of Databricks Notebooks .
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB / Declarative Automation Bundles) .
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Git .
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) .
- Strong knowledge of AWS , especially Amazon S3 .
- Solid understanding of data engineering and cloud-based data platforms.
Good to Have
- Experience with Databricks deployment automation across multiple environments.
- Experience with Databricks Jobs/Workflows.
- Experience with infrastructure and configuration management.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices for data platforms.
