A Fortune 50 client is looking for a Data Scientist to come join their team in support of their Integrated Business Planning program for their European sector. As a Data Scientist, you will be working on this client’s large Integration Business Planning program for their EU regions in helping them improve their demand forecasting models (that are already in place) to make them more efficient models. This role will require someone who understands IBP demand forecasting who can assess the accuracy and performance of machine learning models in the new models, help with model selection logic, perform data validation check and data quality checks, run experiments on the models, and map existing old data to the new models to create better output.

We are looking for someone who can help with making business recommendations and create solutions for problems that arise are key to success. An ideal candidate will have a passion for solving problems and be comfortable working in a smaller team, within a global organization. This role allows candidates to be remote in India, however you must be available to work either 10am-7pm IST or 11am – 8pm IST.

Skills and Requirements

-3-4 years overall Data Science experience -Expertise in Python and Pyspark -Experience with various algorithms including, but not limited to: Forecasting, Econometrics, and Curve fitting methods --> Demand Forecasting is most important -1 years development role, ML Model implementation,



experimentation & related software engineering focused -Experience working in Azure ecosystem: ADF, ADLS, Databricks, Blob, etc. -ADO board experience -Solid SQL background -Expertise in CICD -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment -Excellent written and verbal communication -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relate - Understanding of data engineering concepts and tools -Industry experience in CPG, F&B;, or FMCB
