Requirement Overview:

The requirement is focused on Commvault Backup Solution expertise in a medium to enterprise-level environment.

Candidates should have experience in Commvault installation, configuration, daily operations, monitoring, backup validation, reporting, and troubleshooting backup failures.

Key Technical Skills Required:

Robust understanding of Commvault Core Application

Experience with storage policy configuration and complete backup lifecycle

Knowledge of deduplication concepts and troubleshooting

Monitoring Commvault environment and managing backup operations

Understanding of libraries configured within the Commvault environment

Database & Application Knowledge:

Candidates should have basic understanding of integrations with:

MS SQL

Oracle Database

SAP HANA

Other enterprise databases





Cloud & Infrastructure Knowledge:

Candidates should have exposure to:

AWS / Azure cloud environments

Cloud workloads and cloud libraries

Windows and Linux operating systems

Basic networking and storage concepts

Storage Understanding:

This is not a Storage Administrator role; however, candidates should understand storage fundamentals.

Knowledge of SAN/NAS concepts, connectivity, SAN protocols, and basic storage troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
