AREA SALES MANAGER – PHARMACEUTICALS

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
Manage, motivate, and guide Medical Representatives and the sales team.
Build and maintain solid relationships with doctors, pharmacies, distributors, and stockists.
Plan and execute field visits, doctor calls, and promotional activities.
Monitor territory-wise sales performance and prepare regular reports.
Identify recent business opportunities and expand market coverage.
Ensure proper product availability and stock management in the assigned area.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide training/coaching to team members.
Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer feedback.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from distributors/stockists.
Achieve monthly,



quarterly, and annual sales objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate in any discipline; B.Pharm/M.Pharm/MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in an ASM/Team Leader role.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and the assigned territory.
Valuable communication, leadership, negotiation, and team-management skills.
Ability to achieve sales targets and manage a field sales team.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Work Location: On the road
