About the Role

Kuche7 Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Costing Engineer to handle product costing, estimation, material calculations, and quotation preparation for manufacturing projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and sheet metal costing.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate product and project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Calculate raw material, sheet metal, hardware, accessories, fabrication, processing, labour, and overhead costs.
- Study 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for costing purposes.
- Calculate material requirements for stainless steel and sheet metal components.
- Prepare cost sheets, BOQs, and quotations.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, R&D;, PPC, and Sales/Estimation teams for cost inputs.
- Obtain and compare material and process costs from relevant sources.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, fabrication, polishing, painting, and assembly.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Review actual production costs against estimated costs and identify variances.
- Maintain costing databases and update material and process rates regularly.
- Support the team in preparing commercial proposals and customer quotations.




- Ensure accuracy of all costing calculations and maintain proper documentation.

Required Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering may be considered based on relevant experience.
- Civil Engineering candidates are NOT eligible.

Candidate Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in costing, estimation, or manufacturing.
- Experience in sheet metal, stainless steel, fabrication, furniture, modular kitchen, automobile, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material costing.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and costing/estimation calculations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical manufacturing and sheet metal/stainless steel product costing will be preferred.

Important: Qualification must be Mechanical Engineering only. Civil Engineering candidates will not be considered.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
