Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to validate software functionality and performance.
Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by recent changes.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Provide training and support to junior team members on automation testing practices and tools.

Mandatory Skills




Robust knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing test scripts.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Ability to analyze requirements and create detailed test cases.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills
Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
