Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java / Big Data Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, ETL, Big Data and Data Warehousing.

The ideal candidate should have a strong software engineering foundation along with experience building or supporting data processing pipelines and working with large-scale data.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain data engineering and data processing solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation and processing.
Work with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka or similar technologies.
Develop productive and complex SQL queries for data processing and analysis.
Work with Data Warehousing concepts, data models and large-scale datasets.
Build scalable and reliable data processing applications.
Collaborate with engineering, data and business teams to understand requirements and deliver production-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize application/data pipeline performance.




Participate in design, development, testing, deployment and production support activities.

Mandatory Skills
4+ years of relevant software/data engineering experience.
Strong hands-on Java development experience.
Strong experience with Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with ETL / Data Pipelines / Data Engineering.
Experience with one or more Big Data technologies, preferably Spark, Hadoop, Hive or Kafka.
Strong SQL skills.
Exposure to Data Warehousing / Data Warehouse concepts.
Good understanding of software development and production settings.
