Role Description The Cooling Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of Newtronic cooling systems and laboratory equipment. This role includes performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration and HVAC components, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

The Cooling

Technician will calibrate and test equipment to ensure stable temperature and environmental conditions, maintain service records, and follow relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also involves coordinating with service teams and customers,



supporting after-sales service activities, and providing technical feedback to improve product performance and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and cooling technologies, including troubleshooting and repair of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control units.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings, with basic knowledge of electrical safety and instrumentation.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of laboratory or industrial equipment, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare environments.
- Understanding of quality, regulatory, and safety standards relevant to laboratory equipment operations; familiarity with GMP or similar guidelines is an advantage.
- Good documentation and reporting skills for service logs, maintenance records, and calibration reports, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication and customer-service skills to interact with clients and internal teams, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in office.
- Diploma or ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline; relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Willingness to travel locally as needed for service calls, and flexibility to handle emergency breakdowns or extended maintenance activities.
