Position: Content Writer Intern

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Role Overview The Content Writer Intern will support the marketing and content teams in researching, developing, and publishing high-quality financial and market-related content for Veye’s digital platforms.

This internship is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest in financial markets, stocks, investing, and the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX), and who want to gain hands-on experience in financial content writing, market research, SEO, content ideation, competitor analysis, and digital publishing.

The intern will work closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams including research, marketing, social media, and design.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Financial Content

- Conduct detailed research on stocks, sectors, companies, market movements, announcements, earnings, and financial developments.
- Research Australian and global financial markets to identify relevant topics and content opportunities.
- Follow company announcements, economic developments, earnings updates, and major market movements.
- Gather information from reliable financial websites, company announcements, market sources, and other online resources.
- Validate information and ensure accuracy before publishing content.
- Develop content based on current market developments, financial events, and industry trends.
- Translate complex financial information into clear, informative, and reader-friendly content.

2. Content Ideation & Trend Spotting

- Identify trending and timely financial topics with potential to attract search traffic and reader interest.
- Monitor stock-market news, company developments, economic updates, and emerging market trends.
- Generate relevant article ideas based on market movements and current developments.
- Develop compelling and relevant headlines for financial content.
- Identify opportunities for timely content around important market events and announcements.
- Contribute ideas for blogs, articles, website content, social media content, and other digital formats.

3. Financial Writing & Content Development

- Write clear, accurate, and engaging articles related to stocks, investing, financial markets, companies, sectors, and the ASX.
- Explain financial and stock-market concepts in a simple and understandable manner.




- Create content while maintaining accuracy, clarity, readability, and relevance.
- Adapt writing style and tone according to the target audience and content format.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure proper grammar, structure, readability, and consistency.
- Ensure financial figures, company information, stock prices, and market-related information are accurately presented.

4. SEO & Digital Content

- Apply basic SEO principles while creating and optimizing content.
- Conduct keyword research and understand search intent.
- Use relevant keywords naturally within articles and website content.
- Structure content using appropriate headings and subheadings.
- Assist with internal linking and content optimization.
- Develop suitable title tags and meta descriptions.
- Optimize existing content to improve search visibility and reader engagement.
- Work with the marketing team to align content with overall SEO and digital marketing objectives.

5. Competitor & Content Analysis

- Analyse competitor financial websites and content strategies.
- Identify topics, formats, and content approaches that are gaining audience interest.
- Conduct content gap analysis to identify opportunities for new topics.
- Monitor competitor content related to stocks, markets, investing, and financial news.
- Provide insights and recommendations for new content ideas and formats.
- Track relevant industry trends and changes in audience interests.

6. Fact-Checking & Content Quality

- Verify financial information using reliable and relevant sources.
- Cross-check stock prices, financial figures, company information, announcements, and market developments.
- Ensure content is factually accurate before submission or publication.
- Maintain high attention to detail while working with financial data.
- Review content for grammatical, factual, and formatting errors.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions from senior team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial markets, stocks, investing, and the ASX.
- Strong research and online information-gathering skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial topics clearly and accurately.
- Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, search intent, headings, internal linking, title tags, and meta descriptions.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to fact-check financial and market-related information.
- Good understanding of grammar, sentence structure, and content readability.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.




- Ability to manage multiple content assignments and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or similar platforms.
- Previous experience in content writing, blogging, financial writing, journalism, or research is a plus.
- Familiarity with stock-market websites, financial news platforms, and company announcements.
- Understanding of the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and content marketing.
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems is a plus.
- Interest in investment research, equities, financial analysis, and business news is highly desirable.
- A portfolio of writing samples, blogs, articles, or published content is preferred.
