We’re building EDIT — India’s first layering fragrance brand, founded by two Y Combinator founders.

And we’re looking for 2 people who are genuinely good at the internet.

Not “I know how to make a content calendar” good.

More like

Give you an idea at 11 AM → you shoot it → edit it → it’s live by 5 PM.

You’ll be creating content across:

- EDIT’s main Instagram
- New experimental / culture pages we build from scratch
- Performance marketing ads
- Founder content
- Reels, skits, vox pops, memes and whatever format the internet decides it likes next

What you’ll actually do
- Take viral/content concepts and turn them into Reels
- Conceptualise your own ideas too
- Shoot on an iPhone
- Be comfortable in front of the camera
- Edit directly on Instagram / CapCut / similar tools
- Create fast, native-looking performance ads
- Experiment with hooks, formats and trends
- Help us build new Instagram pages + original content IPs from zero
- Shoot with founders, employees, creators, friends and occasionally random people on the street
- Make a lot of content

Some of it will work. Some of it will flop.

Then we make the next one.

You’re probably right for this if

- You spend way too much time on Instagram/Reels anyway
- You instinctively know when a video feels boring
- You’re comfortable talking or acting on camera




- You can shoot and edit without needing a production crew
- You understand memes, hooks, trends and internet culture
- You’ve made content for yourself before
- You have ideas without waiting for someone to brief you
- You’re happy experimenting every day

We care far more about what you’ve made than where you’ve interned. If you have your own creator page, meme page, YouTube channel, niche Instagram account, or random Reel that unexpectedly got 500K views — we want to see it.

Editing skillsYou do not need to be a professional video editor.

If you’re valuable with

- CapCut
- InShot
- VN
- basic Canva

…you’re good. Speed + taste > fancy software.

How we workWe’re currently flexible / remote-ish, but we’re building EDIT in Mumbai.

Expect to meet 2–3 times a week to shoot, brainstorm and make content together.

This will be a very hands-on role.

You won’t be sitting on Zoom discussing content.

You’ll be making it.
