We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gynecologist / Obstetrician to provide comprehensive womens healthcare, including OPD consultations, antenatal and postnatal care, management of high-risk pregnancies, gynecological procedures and surgeries, and obstetric emergencies. The role involves IPD rounds, patient counseling, clinical decision-making, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct OPD consultations and diagnose/manage gynecological and obstetric conditions.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
- Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as per expertise.
- Conduct IPD rounds and ensure continuity of patient care.
- Counsel patients regarding treatment, reproductive health and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols.
Preferred candidate profile
- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
- Relevant experience as a Consultant Gynecologist / Obstetrician in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical exposure in OPD consultation, obstetric emergencies, gynecological procedures/surgery, and IPD management.
- Excellent clinical judgment, patient communication and counseling skills.
- Willingness to work in a full time hospital-based role.
