​In-Person / Offline MUN Conference Roles

Role Structure: Unpaid Internship / Volunteer Base with Profit-Share Incentive (Revenue Share upon conference profitability)

​Executive Secretariat (Department Heads)

​1. Under-Secretary-General (USG) of Delegate Relations & Recruitment

​Overview: Leads strategy for attracting delegates, managing school delegations, overseeing the registration pipeline, and serving as the primary liaison for participant inquiries.

​Key Tasks: Outreach strategy, delegate onboarding, delegation outreach, and managing delegate support channels.

​2. Under-Secretary-General (USG) of Media, Design & Communications

​Overview: Directs the brand identity, marketing campaigns, and public relations for the offline conference.

​Key Tasks: Managing the creative team, approving social media/print materials, and directing event media coverage.

​3. Under-Secretary-General (USG) of Technology & Logistics

​Overview: Oversees physical event logistics, venue setup, equipment, on-site tech infrastructure, and digital tools.

​Key Tasks: Venue operations management, IT/AV deployment, schedule execution, and managing the logistics & developer staff.

​Academic & Committee Staff

​4. Academic Researcher

​Overview: Drafts high-quality background guides, topic synopses, and study materials for delegates ahead of the conference.

​Key Tasks: Subject matter research, drafting committee guides, setting debate parameters, and verifying delegate position papers.

​5. Committee Moderator

​Overview: Assists committee chairs on-site during debate sessions to ensure smooth flow, track speakers, and manage parliamentary procedure.

​Key Tasks:



Managing speaker lists, timing speeches, tallying votes, and assisting with draft resolutions.

​Delegate Affairs & Equity

​6. Delegate Affairs Officer

​Overview: Serves as the primary point of contact for individual delegates and faculty advisors before and during the event.

​Key Tasks: On-site registration/check-in, badge distribution, help-desk operations, and resolving delegate queries during committee hours.

​7. Equity & Accessibility Officer

​Overview: Ensures an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment for all participants throughout the conference.

​Key Tasks: Enforcing code of conduct guidelines, addressing accessibility/special accommodations needs, and mediating any delegate disputes or policy violations on-site

​Media, Marketing & Design Team

​8. Social Media Manager & Content Creator

​Overview: Drives engagement across digital channels leading up to and during the live offline event.

​Key Tasks: Planning content calendars, creating short-form video content/reels, live-posting during conference days, and managing audience interaction.

​9. Graphic Designer

​Overview: Creates all visual assets for both online promotion and physical conference materials.

​Key Tasks: Designing social media assets, print materials (placards, banners, delegate handbooks,



certificates, badges), and event branding elements.

​10. Copywriter & Communications Associate

​Overview: Crafts compelling written content for outreach, press releases, delegate emails, and promotional materials.

​Key Tasks: Writing promotional emails, website copy, delegate guides, and official conference announcements.

​11. Outreach & Partnership Associate

​Overview: Builds relationships with schools, universities, MUN clubs, and partner organizations to secure group delegations.

​Key Tasks: Direct communication with educational institutions, partner negotiations, and tracking prospective delegation pipelines.

​Technology & Logistics Team

​12. Full-Stack / Web Developer

​Overview: Builds and maintains the conference website, custom registration portals, and digital event platforms.

​Key Tasks: Developing web forms, maintaining real-time schedules/announcements on the site, and integrating delegate registration systems.

​13. Logistics & On-Site Event Coordinator

​Overview: Manages physical setup, vendor coordination, room allocations, and live event movement.

​Key Tasks: Room setup and venue prep, managing printed conference kits, directing delegate flow between sessions, and resolving on-site operational issues.

​Compensation Note for Postings

​Compensation Structure: All roles are offered as 6-month volunteer/internship positions with skilled certificates and references. Since this is a fee-based offline conference, team members are eligible for a profit-share model calculated and distributed following successful post-event financial reconciliation.
