Key Responsibilitiesrn1. Media & Press Relationsrn- Draft, edit, and disseminate press releases, media advisories, and statements highlighting TERI-s research, events, and policy contributions. Coordinate with internal teams to obtain quotes and expert comments from relevant speakers, researchers, and panelists.rn- Ensure timely and targeted dissemination of press materials to national, regional, and occasionally international media outlets.rn- Interact regularly with media agencies and journalists to keep them abreast of TERI-s activities, ongoing initiatives, and key developments.rn- Maintain and update comprehensive media contact databases; track and compile media coverage reports.rn- Position TERI-s experts strategically in Category-A media through interviews, authored articles, etc.rn- Facilitate media representation at conferences, press briefings, and networking events.rnrn2. YouTube and Digital Channel Managementrn- Manage and grow TERI-s YouTube channel, including planning, uploading, and optimizing content for audience reach and engagement.rn- Develop strategies to increase subscriptions, followers, and viewer interaction.rn- Coordinate production of high-quality video content, ensuring alignment with TERI-s communication goals.rnrn3. Social Media & Digital Channels:



rn- Content creation and schedulingrn- Performance analysis of all institutional social media accounts (e.g., X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and the YouTube channel.

Experience

2 - 7 Years

Qualification

- Education: Master-s degree in Communications- Journalism- Public Relations- or related field.n- Experience: 2-7 Years (Mandetory experience as a journalist or media practitioner preferably with leadingprint- digital or broadcast media houses

Skills

Technical Proficiency

- Proven experience in press release writing- media coordination- and digital dissemination.
- Strong command over YouTube management- SEO- and video analytics.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Photoshop- Canva- etc.) is an added advantage.

Core Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging narratives.
- Robust understanding of media landscapes- digital engagement metrics- and audience development strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
