We are developing a comprehensive K–8 textbook series covering Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Computational Thinking, and we are looking for a Full-Time Communication Design Specialist to establish and own its visual language.

This is not a routine layout position. You will architect the design system from the ground up, set publication and editorial standards, and directly shape how thousands of students interact with complex concepts. As a key design lead, you will shape our core curriculum and expand your impact across our broader portfolio of educational and technology platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON?

Systemic Visual Design: Build and maintain a cohesive, scalable design system covering typography, color palettes, visual hierarchy, grid systems, page structures, chapter openers, and recurring component libraries.

Textbook Production & Layout: Lead the visual design and layout of multiple textbook series (approximately 8+ titles) using established design systems.

Information Architecture & Visuals: Develop diagrammatic systems, custom icon sets, data visualizations, and visual storytelling methods tailored to distinct K–8 age groups.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with educators, authors,



and content teams to ensure visual design actively enhances learning outcomes and pedagogical clarity.

Brand & Visual Direction: Define appropriate visual styles, character assets, and illustrative approaches suited to young learners across computer science subjects.

Cross-Vertical Impact: Contribute to visual design initiatives across our expanding product lines, including digital learning platforms and educational publishing assets.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Background & Experience: Qualified foundation in visual communication, editorial design, or information design. Experience in publishing, ed-tech, or instructional design is a strong plus.

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Figma. Familiarity with Illustrator or automated publishing/typesetting tools is an advantage.

Systemic Thinking: Proven ability to design scalable, reusable design systems and component libraries rather than one-off pages.

Editorial & Typography Eye: Strong mastery over layout systems, typographic hierarchy, readability standards, and multi-page editorial design.

Strong Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating depth in multi-page editorial work, publishing design, visual systems, or information architecture.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Goa, Goa
