Role Description The Collections Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada, responsible for overseeing end-to-end collections processes and ensuring timely recovery of dues from customers and partners. This role includes monitoring outstanding balances, prioritizing collection efforts, and maintaining accurate records of invoices, payments, and follow-up actions.

Manager will communicate regularly with shippers, fleet suppliers, and internal operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and address any collection-related issues.



The role involves developing and implementing collection strategies, tracking key performance metrics, and preparing periodic reports for management.

Manager will also collaborate with finance and customer service teams to strengthen credit controls, support cash-flow objectives, and maintain strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in collections management, credit control, and accounts receivable handling.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, reporting, and the use of spreadsheets or financial software to track payments and outstanding balances.
- Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management, with a focus on resolving payment issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess skills in process improvement, documentation, and compliance with internal policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar operations-focused industry is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment are important.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or billing systems will be advantageous.
