We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience in building construction and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The candidate should have solid expertise in design, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and foundation design, along with hands-on experience in project execution support.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements
Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation for civil and structural works
Design and analyze foundations for various structures, including equipment foundations
Perform basic PEB structure design calculations and coordinate with PEB vendors
Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and assist in design development
Conduct site visits for validation of design inputs and coordination with execution teams
Assist in value engineering and cost optimization
Ensure compliance with relevant IS codes, standards, and safety norms
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical,
vendors, consultants)
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and rate analysis
Experience in cost estimation and budgeting
Understanding of PEB structures and industrial building systems
Proficiency in foundation design and basic structural calculations
Familiarity with IS Codes and construction standards
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Software Skills:
AutoCAD (mandatory)
STAAD Pro / ETABS / PROTECTED (preferred)
MS Excel (advanced level for BOQ & estimation)
Educational Qualification:
B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Preferred Experience:
Experience in industrial projects, warehouses, EV infrastructure, or PEB structures
Exposure to tendering, vendor coordination, and site execution support
Additional Requirements:
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to travel for site visits if required
