Role Description This is a full-time, in office Civil Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Civil

Engineer will participate in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings, infrastructure, and site development. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications; coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders; and monitoring project progress to ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and local codes. The role involves conducting site inspections, managing construction quality and timelines, resolving technical issues, and supporting project documentation and reporting.

The Civil





Engineer will also assist in estimating quantities, supporting cost control, and contributing to sustainable and efficient construction practices.

Qualifications

- Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on-site, overseeing construction activities and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Planning and project coordination skills to support scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Stormwater Management knowledge for site drainage, water flow control, and compliance with environmental standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and local municipal requirements.
- Proficiency in common engineering and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software) and basic MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Previous experience in construction, real estate development, or infrastructure projects in India is an advantage.
