Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) and industrial construction projects.

The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, PEB execution, civil and structural works, quality control, progress monitoring, measurements, contractor coordination, documentation and project reporting.

The candidate should be capable of independently monitoring site activities and ensuring that construction work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities1. PEB & Civil Site Execution

- Supervise day-to-day civil and PEB construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor execution of foundations, anchor bolts, RCC works, flooring, structural works and PEB erection.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with PEB suppliers and erection contractors.
- Check alignment, levels, dimensions and installation of structural components.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants and contractors for resolution.

1. Site Supervision & Progress Monitoring

- Monitor daily site activities and manpower deployment.
- Track project progress against the approved project schedule.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
- Identify delays, bottlenecks and construction issues and report them to management.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Ensure proper sequencing of civil, structural, electrical and other related works.

1. Quality Assurance & Quality Control

- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
- Inspect workmanship and construction materials.
- Monitor concrete, reinforcement, foundations, flooring and structural works.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams and consultants for inspections.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspections, approvals and test reports.
- Identify quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure that construction materials and workmanship meet project requirements.

1. Measurement & Billing

- Verify contractor measurements and quantities.
- Prepare and check Measurement Books (MB) and quantity statements.
- Verify contractor bills against actual site work.
- Check quantities of civil and PEB works executed.
- Assist in preparing BOQ comparisons and variation statements.
- Monitor material consumption and wastage.

Drawings & Technical Coordination

- Read and interpret civil, structural and PEB drawings.
- Coordinate with structural consultants, architects, PEB vendors and contractors.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies or site-related issues.
- Coordinate for revisions and clarifications required during execution.
- Ensure latest approved drawings are available at site.
- Coordinate site requirements with the design/engineering team.

1. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain proper project documentation including:
- Daily Progress Reports (DPR)
- Site inspection reports
- Measurement sheets
- Contractor records
- Material inspection reports
- Quality checklists
- Concrete test reports
- Drawing registers
- RFI/inspection requests
- Work completion records
- Project progress reports
- BOQ and quantity statements
- Site photographs
- Variation records

1. Contractor & Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with civil contractors, PEB contractors, consultants and vendors.
- Conduct regular site coordination meetings.
- Communicate project requirements clearly to contractors.
- Follow up on pending works and corrective actions.
- Ensure contractors follow approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
- Escalate major technical, quality or schedule issues to management.

1. Safety & Site Discipline

- Ensure contractors follow project safety requirements.
- Coordinate with the EHS/Safety team regarding site activities.
- Ensure safe working practices during PEB erection, lifting and civil construction.
- Report unsafe conditions and ensure corrective measures are taken.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline.

1. Project Planning & Coordination

- Assist the Project Manager in preparing construction schedules.
- Monitor activity-wise progress.
- Coordinate civil works with PEB erection and other plant construction activities.
- Plan manpower and material requirements with contractors.
- Track critical activities and ensure timely completion.
- Assist in identifying potential project delays and mitigation measures.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience.




- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in PEB / industrial construction projects preferred.
- Experience in factory, warehouse, industrial building or manufacturing plant construction will be an advantage.
