Role & responsibilities
Prepare and maintain cost sheets for products and manufacturing processes.
Perform product costing based on raw material, labour, power, overheads, and other manufacturing costs.
Prepare and analyse batch-wise costing based on actual material consumption and production output.
Compare standard/estimated cost with actual cost and identify cost variances.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports related to production, costing, consumption, inventory, and profitability.
Conduct inventory reconciliation between ERP/system stock, book stock, and physical inventory.
Analyse inventory differences, material consumption, wastage, production loss, and yield variances.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase,



and Accounts teams for accurate costing and reconciliation.
Monitor raw material price fluctuations and assess their impact on product costing.
Provide costing and MIS analysis to management for decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile Positive knowledge of MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.

Experience with SAP.

Solid analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.

Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
