We are looking for a CS & Legal Intern – Corporate Affairs to work closely with the founding and finance teams at Variabl.

This role is ideal for someone pursuing Company Secretary (CS), Law, or Corporate Law who wants hands-on exposure to corporate compliance, governance, and legal operations within a quick-growing startup.

You will work across Companies Act compliance, MCA/ROC filings, corporate documentation, regulatory research, and day-to-day corporate affairs.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
Corporate Compliance & MCA/ROC Filings
Assist with MCA and ROC filings and maintain compliance trackers for the company.
Support routine compliances under the Companies Act, 2013, including annual filings, board and shareholder compliances, and director-related filings.
Assist with share capital and allotment-related documentation.
Maintain statutory registers and corporate records.
Track statutory deadlines and maintain the company's corporate compliance calendar.
Corporate Documentation
Assist in preparing board resolutions and shareholder resolutions.
Prepare notices, minutes, consent letters, corporate declarations, and other secretarial documents.
Assist with legal documentation, basic agreements, NDAs, engagement letters, and corporate records.




Maintain organized digital records of incorporation documents, filings, certificates, agreements, and statutory documents.
Legal & Regulatory Research
Research the Companies Act, MCA, FEMA, and other corporate and regulatory requirements relevant to the business.
Track regulatory changes and prepare short internal notes explaining their potential impact on the company.
Support the team in understanding and addressing routine corporate and regulatory requirements.
Coordination & Corporate Affairs
Coordinate with practising Company Secretaries, Chartered Accountants, lawyers, and other external specialists for filings and regulatory matters.
Support the founders and finance team with ad-hoc corporate affairs, legal, and compliance matters.
Assist with the day-to-day management of corporate compliance and legal operations.
