Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Civil

Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans and layouts for EPCC projects, including infrastructure related to petroleum, oil and gas, offshore–onshore, and marine facilities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed drawings and specifications, performing calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and HSE requirements. The role involves planning and monitoring project progress, assisting in cost and resource optimization, and participating in site inspections to verify construction quality and adherence to design.

The Civil

Engineer will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications

- Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, including the ability to prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.




- Experience working as Civil Engineers on industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably in petroleum, oil and gas, offshore–onshore, or marine environments.
- Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of civil works across multiple project phases.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related hydrology, drainage, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and HSE practices applicable to EPCC projects.
- Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools) and basic project management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in in office project execution and coordination in an industrial setting is an advantage.
